Step 1 & 2
I start out with a wash of Burnt
Sienna, Burnt Umber, and Yellow Ochre with a little bit
of white and Raw Sienna. I wait a few minutes for it to
dry and then start drawing with vine charcoal. I usually
don't start with this much line drawing, but for me, drawing
profiles and hands is hard, so I make sure I get it right
from the start.
